Recent research indicates that an individual’s positive memories of physical education are the most important factor in shaping future attitudes toward, and participation in, physical activity.
The physical education community plays an incredibly important role in our society as we begin to tackle our nation’s growing problem with inactivity and its associated risk factors to children and adolescents.

Culturally Responsive Classrooms and Social/Emotional Learning in PE
Cindy Kuhrasch and Dan Timm will be co-hosting an online, one-day workshop on Monday June 22nd. The workshop will cover topics in cultural connections and developing curricula that will engage students’ social and emotional skills.
The online format will allow us to learn together through real-time video conferencing. In addition, we will be opening the online course before and after the day of the workshop to share additional resources and provide opportunities for the sharing of ideas between participants.
Participants will leave prepared to interact more meaningfully with their students and teach them social and emotional skills. Learn more about the workshop and pricing here.
