Biography:

I completed my undergraduate and graduate work at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I received my MPH (2012) and PhD (2015) from the UAB Department of Health Behavior, School of Public Health. I completed my postdoctoral fellowship with the UAB Division of Preventive Medicine, School of Medicine from 2016-2018. My research interests includes the development, evaluation, and implementation of family-centered chronic disease self-management programs delivered by community peer coaches.
