We are excited to announce the introduction of a new Bachelor of Science degree being offered in the Department of Kinesiology. The Health Promotion and Health Equity (HPHE) degree is being offered for the first time in Fall of 2019. It is a cross-collaboration between the departments of Counseling Psychology, Kinesiology, and Rehabilitation Psychology & Special Education. The intent is to prepare students for careers as health educators with the skills to work with diverse, underrepresented, and underserved populations. Drawing from the expertise of the different departments, graduates will be uniquely positioned to pursue a career in the healthcare field with a broad range of knowledge and expertise.
