My name is Hannah Saskowski from Muskego, Wisconsin. I am a sophomore pursuing a degree in Biology, with an interest in the health field. I am very fortunate to be involved in Dr. Pickett's lab utilizing standardized gait testing to discover information that can be informative for the future treatment of Parkinson's patients. This research provides me great hands-on experience for educational and personal growth. In my free time I enjoy sports, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Kristen Cassarini

Kristen Cassarini

My name is Kristen Cassarini and I'm a senior pursuing a degree in Kinesiology.  I'm originally from Rockaway, NJ and earned my undergraduate degree in History and Political Science at UW-Madison in 2011.  After graduation, I served as an AmeriCorps Member at Madison East High School coordinating the Schools of Hope tutoring program.  I recently decided to go back to school and study Kinesiology with the hope of attending physical therapy school in the future.  As an Undergraduate Research Scholar, I'm lucky to be working with Dr. Pickett in the SMIL as she serves as my Research Mentor.  My research interests focus on the affects of concussions of gait and I look forward to moving forward with a relevant study.  I enjoy volunteering in my spare time as well as dabbling in photography, traveling, reading, and being outdoors.
