My name is Colleen Althoff and I am from Libertyville, Illinois. I am in my third year in my undergrad as a rehabilitation psychology major. I got involved with this project because I was interested in getting research experience and learning more about Autism Spectrum Disorders. I will be applying soon to Occupational Therapy masters programs for when I graduate.
Megan Dieringer is from La Crosse, WI. She holds a BA in Studio Art from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. She really enjoyed the hands-on, student-driven nature of working with SAPAR, which made the research process feel very personal. After completing fieldwork, she hopes to find a position as an Occupational Therapist in the Madison area.
I'm from Savage, MN, and am currently pursuing a degree in Neurobiology with a global health certificate. I got involved in Karla's project through the Undergraduate Research Scholars program when I was searching for a lab related to the health of children. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, traveling, and spending time with friends. In the future, I hope to work in healthcare.
My name is Becky Krynski and I am a junior Rehabilitation Psychology major. After graduation, I plan to pursue my Master's in Occupational Therapy and I hope to work with children or the geriatric population in my future career. I am originally from MN, but I have fallen in love with all things Madison-Farmer's Market, sunny days on the terrace, and of course Badger sports!
My name is Christina Spiewak and I will be graduating from University of Wisconsin with a degree in Social Welfare and a certificate in African Studies in May 2014. I am originally from Middleton, Wisconsin and hope to pursue a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy in the future. A highlight of my undergraduate career was studying abroad in Ghana and I hope to continue to travel and work with kids with developmental disabilities around the world.
