Kinesiology Club of UW Madison

Mission Statement

The mission of the Kinesiology Club of UW-Madison is to investigate career opportunities within the fields of exercise science, movement science, and physical education. It also wishes to promote physical activity within the club, department, campus, and community. As a club, we wish to give back to the community through service activities.

How to Join

To join the Kinesiology Club, you must pay dues, volunteer at the annual poker run, and attend a minimum of five meetings/events per semester.  Dues are $10 per semester or $15 per year and can be paid at any meeting.

February 8th- Student Org Fair in the Kohl Center. 5:00pm-8:00pm

February 15th-Spring Kick-off meeting at the SERF classroom 261 at 8:00pm

February 16th- Student org social, meet In front of student entrance of Kohl Center at 5:50pm

February 29th-Member meeting: Poker Run Committees Sign-up

March 7th- Member meeting

March 21st-Member meeting- Bowling with the Scouts at Union South

April 11th-Member meeting- Poker run meeting and fitness class at Union South

April 13th- Relay for Life at 6pm at Camp Randall

April 19th- Kinesiology Club Poker Run – Registration begins at 4:30pm at the NAT (see below for more information)

April 26th- Comedy Club at 7:30pm (Caitlin)

May 3rd- End of the year dinner- Nitty Gritty and bar crawl (Luke and Ryan)
